I loved your post - I tried to comment, but it wouldn't work, so I'm posting instead! We fought this all Saturday morning, too, until it became so obvious that God did not intend for us to go to St. Vincent this year. That song kept playing over and over in my head, "Waiting here for You with our hands lifted high, singing Alleluia." All day we waited to see what God was going to do with us - and then after calling our friend, John, the light started to shine on what God might be doing here. Who are we to say where we should be? The people here in Tama, Iowa, are just as important to Him as the people in St. Vincent. So we are here, committed to loving them with our whole hearts because of the great love Christ has shown to us. And it is so obvious that our Plan B was God's Plan A all along! You all are in our prayers constantly! I keep trying to imagine what you guys are doing and knowing just how amazing your trip is going to be!! We love you so much!!! And we are definitely having a joint missions team party after!!!
