Well this week has not turned out the way we thought it would, but that is ok since we know it is God's will. I was disapointed when I found out we would not be going to St. Vincent. But it was very obvious God did not want us there so I knew he had other plans for us. So when I found out we were going to Iowa I was excited to be doing his will.
Today was our first work day, and I weeded, painted, and attempted to sweep up paint chips in the parking lot. I have had a lot of fun laughing and hanging out with my friends and am looking forward to what God has in store for us for the rest of the week.
Hey Lauren, I hope you are having a great time on the mission's trip. I know things did not go exactly as planned, but God has a purpose for changing your plans. I HOPE you have a great time and I can't wait to hear more, Heidi Mueller
