The Pioneers

To the Cumberbuns, Kenny-bunkport, and Dawn Treader,

Everyone of us who was unable to travel with you to St. Vincent are so completely thankful that you are there to serve our Savior and Lord. We feel like you represent us as well as First Baptist Church, and we could not be better represented. We are excited for you as this adventure unfolds.

As it finally sunk in this morning that our group was not going to make it to St. Vincent, I heard several times, "well, at least the rest of our team can get there. We're so happy they have this opportunity!"

We pray for your strength, wisdom, courage, and love for the precious people of St. Vincent. If you haven't found out already, your hosts, Mike, Debbie, & Charity Edwards are wonderful missionaries, with decades of experience in both missions and hosting missions groups. We know you will be a great encouragement to them, just "doing what we do."

No matter what else comes your way this week (like when you find out we have the coffee maker), know that you are in the center of God's will, and He will work in you and through you to "Let them give glory unto the LORD, and declare His praise in the islands" (Isaiah 42:12).
